Master Keith Elkins

Master Elkins has been a professional martial arts educator for 30 years. Master Elkins has trained  in many different martial arts systems and is the founding master of Keith Elkins Karate and the CANIDO mixed martial arts system. He also holds a 5th degree black belt in Taekwondo,  2nd degree in Combat Hapkido. Master Elkins has been a national and regional competitor and coach in fighting, weapons, and forms.

Master Elkins was inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 1997 as Master Instructor of the Year. He also received the Man of the Year award from the Karate Helps
 Kick Diabetes Foundation for his fundraising efforts in the fight against diabetes. Master Elkins is also a former national team member of the Force One National Martial Arts Team.

  • ·        Member of the board of directors for The Center for Children

  • ·        Most of all Proud Father of two sons and one daughter as well as proud grandfather
          of three grandsons and one granddaughter.

 


Master Joshua Elkins

Master Josh is the Head Instructor of Keith Elkins Karate and Mixed martial Arts and eldest son of Master Keith Elkins. Master Josh is a top ranked national competitor in fighting, forms, and weapons. Master Josh also has a 10-3 record in full contact kickboxing. Master Josh has been a professional martial arts educator for the last ten years, since the age of eighteen.

Master Josh is a 5th Degree Black belt in the art of CANIDO and a 3rd degree black belt
 in Taekwondo. Master Josh is the proud father of his four year old son Kameryn.

 


Melissa Kang

Ms. Melissa is a 1st Degree Black Belt and comes from a family of martial artists. Her Father and Brother hold the rank of black belt. Ms. Melissa’s uncle Master Mel Reyes was actually Master Elkins’ first martial arts instructor. Ms. Melissa is the program director and an
instructor at Keith Elkins Karate. Ms. Melissa is also a college student majoring in business.
